talking with my feet

A few days ago, in a structured conversation with a dozen people, I was reminded that the First Amendment guarantees freedom from laws abridging speech, or of the press; *or* the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Which reminded me of times when my presence in peaceful assembly with dozens or hundreds or thousands of my neighbors has been my voice.
Which reminded me to check my local listings for October 18th so I can, and God willing I will, once more gather in my town to assert that we will obey No Kings in these United States, nor authoritarians, nor dictators, nor despots.
