less crazy by a long shot

What if we woke up one morning and found a tiny corner of the world less crazy . . .

Check out starbury.com

When you get to the Goods, make sure you look at the price info.

A realistic markup since a pair of shoes only cost .30 cents to make in China.

yeh, it's an interesting dilemma, isn't it. i checked a few industry sources and news stories and the early consensus was that Marbury and friends are leaving so much money on the table that it's hard to understand why they bother. Starbury seems to be taking aim at markup more than wages as they are using the same manufacturers employed by the major sneaker brands. it will be interesting to see if the company and the story get tractiion this fall (and if so, what meaning they make of it).
