MacWorld

Just back from MacWorld in San Francisco. What a remarkable tribe.

I suspect I'll be some time figuring out all there is to learn from the experience. It was more about productivity than product; more about design than style.

I always found it interesting that Guy Kawasaki and the other early marketers at Apple called themselves evangelists. Now I've been to church.

I DO mourn the passing of the "powerbook," maybe in name only. This has been a week or two of scrambling to figure out why I have to have a new Macbook Pro, as soon as I can get afford one.

At the least, one more exercise in restraint.
